Mette Edvardsen: Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine:

As part of ‘The Future of Disappearance’, a project curated by André Lepecki, Mette Edvardsen presents Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine: a collection of living books, at Newtown Library. During opening week, visitors are invited to spend time with one of the ‘books’ – performers who have memorised a text of their choosing – as they recite content in a one-on-one experience. Limited capacity, bookings are essential.

Boris Charmatz: Manager:

Don’t miss out on renowned French choreographer Boris Charmatz’s Australian premiere performance of manger (2014), a piece for 13 dancers. The word ‘manger’ translates as, ‘to eat’ in French, which is central to the provocation that the work also takes as its starting point: what role might the mouth, and specifically eating, play in choreography, dance and performance? Entry is inclusive with tickets to the 20th Biennale Keynote Address by Charmatz on Sunday, March 19, 6.30 pm.
