Art Almanac is more than a magazine. As well as publishing 11 issues a year we are online – posting Australian art news daily, delivering a newsletter every week and communicating on social media. Successful applicants will assist in research and writing online content, social media management and in-house operations.
This is an unpaid position. You must be able to commit to 3 months, 1 day per week in our Sydney office.
Duties
• Data entry and general admin
• Researching and writing online articles
• Support content production and publication in WordPress
• Creatively plan and upload to social media
Requirements
• Interest in contemporary Australian art
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently handling multiple tasks
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Honours or postgraduate arts degree
Desired
• Knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop programs
• Experience with in-depth research projects
