Bega Valley Shire Council is committed to promoting the creation of a broad range of distinctive contemporary public art works which will contribute to the attractiveness of our towns and enhance the use of our public spaces. Council will achieve this by regularly offering artists opportunities to represent, explore, and reconsider the identity, values and culture of the Bega Valley Shire by:

commissioned works,
community arts projects, and
an annual acquisitive prize at Sculpture by the Edge

Current Opportunities:

Bega Valley Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest for innovative and creative public art works at the following locations:

Bega | Littleton Gardens | Sculpture
Budget $30,000 for one commissioned work
Applications close Friday 5 December 2014 5pm

Bega | Littleton Gardens | Interactive Play Sculpture
Budget $28,000 for two or more commissioned works
Applications close Monday 8 December 2014 5pm
