Cedric Baxter is a revered painter from Perth, Western Australia who produces evocative artworks drawing from his love of poetry, ballet, myths and legends, literature and scripture. He works from his studio/library below his house where he dreams the pictures he then conjures into reality.
His current exhibition ‘Little Pictures’ shows he has neither the time nor inclination to paint huge works. Baxter says, “At 86 next birthday, every minute of every day is precious. And I still have so much to say and do in this wonderful world.”
