Chippendale Creative Precinct – Gallery Walking Tours

The creativity and magic of the BEAMS Arts Festival is yet to leave Sydney’s small inner-city suburb of Chippendale. Through the CCP’s extraordinary unification of small businesses run by passionate creatives, Chippendale has undergone a cultural revival and is emerging as Sydney’s main arts hub; a creative hideaway tucked within a vast urban cityscape. In March of this year, the Chippendale Creative Precinct (CCP) launched an exciting new initiative to keep the streets of Chippendale buzzing.

On the first Saturday of each month, there will be a free guided tour of selected galleries. Each tour will visit up to five galleries, and guests will be fortunate enough to hear talks given by gallerists and their featured artists. It will be a wonderful opportunity for visitors to engage with Chippendale’s edgy art scene in a relaxed social setting, over a complimentary glass of wine.

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than exploring the hidden gems of Chippendale!

‘Tour Four’ will feature a guided expedition through Chippendale galleries: The Japan Foundation, The Corner Cooperative, Harrington Street Gallery, and The Commercial.
