Now one of Australia’s most important contemporary art prizes, the ‘Guirguis New Art Prize’ (GNAP) showcases the fifteen shortlisted finalists at Ballarat’s two major galleries, Federation University Australia’s Post Office Gallery and the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
Providing a special opportunity for artists working across existing, new and emerging artforms and technologies, GNAP15 also allows new audiences to experience and engage with an inspiring range of cutting-edge contemporary art. The prestigious $20,000 ‘Guirguis New Art Prize’ (GNAP) has been awarded to Melbourne based artist Lou Hubbard with her work Dead Still Standing.
