In addition to the Print Exhibition, ‘The BIG PRINT’ will present works by participants of workshops in April to mid-July this year. The workshop sessions provided skills in printmaking processes; contemporary Japanese woodblock, intaglio, silk-screen, mezzotint, and Japanese moku hanga.

InkMaster members, Theo Tremblay and Hannah Parker, worked on a printmaking project with local school children to create large lino cut blocks. These will be layed end to end on the floor of Tank 5 along with contributions by InkMasters members.

Founding InkMaster member, Laurel McKenzie says, “This year we plan to use a road roller as a huge press to create one of the longest print runs ever to be created in the tropical north.”
