Back for its 5th instalment, ‘Wonderwalls Festival’ is returning to Wollongong from the 25 to 27 November, 2016 to paint the town from end to end.
With over 20 walls set to be blanketed with art by local, national and international street and graffiti artists, some much needed colour will spill out to the West end of Wollongong.
Live murals will be painted by 45RPM, Beastman, Cherie Buttons, Chris Banks, Claire Foxton, David Cragg, E.l.k, Jarus, Enes, Frank And Mimi, Gary, George Rose, Georgia Hill, Jess Cochrane, Jessee Lee Johns, John Kaye, Jyiro, Krimsone, Maid, Marsh, Mayo, Mikey Freedom, Phibs, Sage, Scott Nagy, Sid Tapia, Simon Thomas, Sion Griff, Sirum, Steve Cross and Vans The Omega.
Coinciding with the festival on Saturday 26 November will be the Wonderwalls Exhibition, curated by 1XRUN and Artist Q&A – Australia’s first ever exhibition curated by 1XRUN from Detroit, USA. Showcasing works by Wonderwalls Alumni and acclaimed artists Askew, Beastman, Bezt, Dabs Myla, Dvate, Elliot Francis Stewart, Fintan Magee, Jarus, Kyle Hughes Odgers, Meggs, Rone, Sainer, Scott Marsh, Sheryo, Shida, Vans The Omega, Yok + more to be announced.
