Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg: The Secret Garden

Swedish artists Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg’s netherworld of strange delights and encounters comes to the Southern Hemisphere for the first time.

Surreal and ultra-sensory, ‘The Secret Garden’ is an immersive landscape of sculpture, light, sound and film. Dealing with human and animalistic desires, from jealousy, revenge and greed, to submission and lust, Djurberg and Berg create psychologically charged scenarios where the id runs riot with tales of trouble in paradise.

The exhibition features an exciting new commission, as well as a survey of the savagely humorous claymation films that first brought Djurberg and Berg into the international spotlight.
