Robert Malherbe is an award-winning artist who lives in pursuit of art, with a deeply instinctive approach to subject matter; be it the human figure, landscape or still life.
‘Resist the spirit of the times’ is a survey exhibition that looks at the first 12 years of Malherbe’s fine art career, highlighting his achievements across expressive landscapes, considered still life and sensual figure studies. His masterly use of colour, luscious paint applications and bold mark-making are all on show with over 30 works featured from public and private collections.
