A celebration of the power and importance of contemporary women’s art making in remote Aboriginal communities, this touring exhibition marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day.
The exhibition features paintings, carvings, fibre art, prints and textile work that have been produced on-country and in community-owned art centres by more than 50 senior women artists engaged locally, nationally and internationally in keeping their culture and communities strong.
