Established in 2009, ‘The Substation Artists’ Market’ is a unique indoor market showcasing some of the best local and regional artists, designers and makers in Melbourne. Held on the first Sunday of every month, excluding January, the market not only provides a bustling shopping arena but also plays host to fantastic live music provided by local musicians.
Find a great selection of charming stalls ranging from paintings and photography to fashion, hand-made jewellery and many more curios.
The market is the ideal place to find great local-made items and to buy affordable, original art direct from the makers themselves. With such an eclectic mix there is something for everyone.
It provides a fantastic opportunity for local artists and crafters to promote and sell their products to the wider community. Regularly attracting over 600 people, it is a unique, buzzing and vibrant shopping experience in the inner west of Melbourne.
