Taking us on an underwater journey, Trudy Rice introduces us to the fascinating creatures that reside amongst the sea grass and coral. Collection and observation is at the core of Rice’s practice as she gathers elements washed ashore, they are examined and described through a pensive drawing process.
With the medium of solar plate collaged printing and using delicate yet ambitiously charged chosen pigments, this new body of work has now been transformed into a trademark within Melbourne’s printmaking community.
