This year Craft turns 45, and to celebrate this milestone they’ve launched the inaugural Victorian Craft Award. The Victorian Craft Award, facilitated by Craft Victoria, celebrates excellence in craft and design and marks the launch of Craft Cubed Festival. One hundred and sixteen finalists have been chosen out of 450 entries, and will be exhibited across four venues: Craft, fortyfivedownstairs, Sofitel Melbourne, and 1 Spring St foyer.
The award presents emerging, mid-career and established crafts people across the state of Victoria and focuses on individuals utilising craft skills, processes and materials. Winners will be announced on Saturday 1 August, 4-6pm.
