Artists Monisha Kumar, Angry Girl, Stephanie Beaupark, Monty Hancock, Chip, Matthew Grayson, and Sarah Carr grapple with this “here and now” and imagine worlds otherwise. Curated by Alinta Maguire and Aneshka Mora.

To May 26 Clare O’Toole: Best Before – working in both acrylics and ceramic sculpture, the artist explores consumer culture, transforming everyday items into vivid still life. The exhibition captures the nostalgic allure of pantry staples, offering a bold reflection on modern consumption that invites the viewer to examine the transient nature of consumer goods.

To June 2 Landscape Tells The Way – Illawarra – brings together contemporary artists who share a connection to the Illawarra and features their unique perspectives on the local landscape. To Nov 3 Shifting Ground – Landscape from the Collection – an exhibition of works traversing traditional and contemporary perspectives of landscape art, including works which present First Nations stories of place, climate change and environmental impacts, the effects of colonisation, settlement and the many approaches artists take to capture different fragments, reflections and narratives within landscapes. The exhibition investigates these notions with works from the First Nations, Colonial, Early Australian, Contemporary and Asian collections including drawing, painting, prints, ceramics, photography and film.
